Dear Members,
We celebrated ‘Holi’, the festival of colours at our Vice
President, Saira Jethnani’s residence at Menara
Kondominium, Poolside. On arrival everyone was
traditionally greeted with ‘gulal’. Hoil is very much
associated with Lord Krishna and what can be a better way
to celebrate ‘Holi’ other than a dance performance of
‘Kathak’ depicting the ‘Raasleela’ of Lord Krishna. The
dance was performed by Pooja Bhatnagar who is an acclaimed
kathak dancer and has performed at various musical
festivals all over India.
Later we played a memory game of writing in which the
winners were Sukhdev Kaur and Gauri Maheswari. In our
second game of dancing and then becoming a statue, the
winners were Kavita Tolani and Pushpa Sodhani. Our
heartiest congratulations to all the winners.
The programme was attended by 54 ladies (38 members and 16
guests). The food was catered by Restaurant Ganesha.
