Last month our meeting was held at our Committee Member, Aparna Narang’s residence. A talk was given by Dr. Vivin Indrawati, Dental Surgeon. The talk was very informative as she elaborated on the need of care for dental health. She advised us to go for a dental check-up every six months. I.AUGUST ‘07
In the August meeting, we will celebrate Independence Day of India and Indonesia. Also since Rakhsa Bandhan is around the corner, we have taken the opportunity to invite Heena Aswani who will teach us how to make rakhees. Heena will teach us three types of rakhees’ (i) with sequence; (ii) with satin ribbon; and (iii) with dry fruits. All members should bring their own (i) pair of scissors, (ii) thick needle with thread, (iii) dry fruits such as almonds, cashew nuts, elachi and dried fig. All other materials will be provided by IWA. To celebrate Independence Day, we will also sing some patriotic songs. Those of you interested in singing, please clear your throat and prepare some songs to sing on the occasion. We will also play a game of antakshari, so a clear throat will also come in handy for this game. The details of our August meeting are as follows:-

BAZAAR 2007
Our Charity Bazaar is schedule for Wednesday, 19th Sept. at the Four Seasons Hotel. Vendor registration will be held on Wednesday, 8th August at the residence of Mrs. Gopi Panjabi, Jl. Tanjung No.39, Menteng. Ph. 3145959.
We would request our members to donate for our Tambola Stall. Please make sure whatever you donate should not have been used before. You can give these to any of our Committee Members or bring it during the August meeting.

CONGRATULATION
We would like to congratulate our member Rekha Adnani who has been blessed with a grand daughter. We hope both the mother and the baby are in good health.
