Members,
The July meeting took place at our committee member,
Aparna Narang’s house. Dr. Imran Syah MD, gave
a talk on Depression amongst women and how to
recognize and overcome it. The talk was very informative
followed by question/answer session.
Our special thanks to Aparna Narang for having
the meeting at her place and for arranging the
delicious food. The meeting was attended by 35
ladies.
We welcome H.E.
Mrs. Navrekha Sharma to Indian Ambassador of India
to Jakarta. IWA looks forward to a fruitful association
with her.We are sure, with her valued advice,
IWA will achieve much more in years to come. On
behalf of IWA our present Mrs. Gopi Panjabi has
sent a bouquet of flower to her.

In the month of August, we will have the Independence
Day celebration on 8th of August at Graha Sindhu
Hall in Pasar Baru. On this occasion we will have
a Talent session. Hence all members are requested
to please come forward and show your talent in
any form; Jokes, Songs, Shayri and Dance. Have
fun by joining us in the Antakshri game. There
will also be a demonstration on the utility of
using Tupperware in our day to day life. We welcome
your friends and relatives. Guest fee will be
charged Rp 20,000 per person. Please try to be
dressed in tri- colour attire – saffron, white
and green.

Harun Nissa, an old folk home for senior citizens,
was presented with a kerosene stove for cooking,
a frying pan and a rice steamer as a special donation.
Bazaar
It is time for IWA to organize its fund raising
event. This year again, we plan to have a ‘bazaar’
in the month of October in Four Seasons Hotel
and look forward to more vendors participation.
We would appreciate if you could spread a word
amongst your friends and relatives about this.

Congratulations to Mrs. Raj Ghanshyam on the wedding
of her daughter Suparna, who got married recently.
