Dear Members,
In our Meeting last month we had guest speaker Dr. Santosh Jalukar
B.A.M.S. who explained the concept of Ayurveda and its value. Ayurveda
is an ancient healing art which remains relevant today. It is not
limited to a particular culture or belief & offers us a time tested &
effective system of prevention oriented natural health care.
Dr. Santosh also described the 3
doshas & how the doshas are the different nature of each individual.
Even the different therapies used
the treatments was explained with how it helps in different cases.
Many of the 68 ladies who attended
the meeting, were full of queries after the lecture, which, Dr.
Santosh cleared for them with details.
The meeting ended with lovely
snacks, which were enjoyed by everyone, & we thank Mrs. Sunitha Badam,
Mrs.Vijaya Birla, Mrs. Madhu Adya & Mrs. Veena Jethnani for organizing
the snacks.

We have an experienced Yoga
instructor Pak Yudi who will show us around the club & will show us
yoga asanas. Those interested in joining along with him can come
dressed in comfortable clothes to follow the yoga with him. We will
meet at the front office on the 1st floor of the Casablanca club at
10:30 am.
Ladies as we have only 40 seats
available at the club we would appreciate if ladies can give in their
names to Mrs. Suchita Mukhi as soon as possible. As usual our guest
fee will be Rp. 20 000.
SOCIAL WELFARE
One of the orphanages IWA is
supporting is SURYA WIYATA. It is a school of retarded children in
Kebaryoran Baru. This institute has 130 children under their wing and
pay for their education and their food. We sponsor them with groceries
and dairy products.
SCHOLARSHIP
We thank Mrs. Manju Agarwal who has
joined our scholarship programme, she is sponsoring E.Merah who is
getting trained to be a teacher. Please contact Mrs. Sunita Badam if
interested to sponsor any student.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to our member Mrs.
Kavita Mahtani, whose daughter Sherina has been blessed with a son. We
wish mother & son all the very best.
