Dear Members,
Everyone getting all set, for the festival mood of Diwali? Yes we have
all started our preparation with our October meeting learning how to
make Sev Burfi, Ladoos, Almond- Pista American Halwa, Chocolate-Paneer
Burfi & quick Danedar burfi. We are very grateful to Mrs. Rajni
Ghansham, Mrs.Vimla Kishinchand & Mrs. Gulu Samtani, who took great
pains in getting everything organized so well to make our meeting very
interesting. We had a very good attendance of 89 Ladies attending the
meeting at Sadhu Vaswani Centre. We thank Mrs. Suchita Mukhi, Mrs.
Laju Lakhiani, Mrs. Shanti Sheshadri & Mrs. Kavita Mahtani for
organizing the lunch.
November 2004
Our forthcoming meeting will be a Diwali Lunch, with lots of fun &
laughter. So for more Fun prepare a good joke so we can have a “Joke
Competition” so we can all roll in laughter.
The Lunch will be held :

The charges for members is Rp.60 000 and guest will be charged Rp.80
000.

Announcement:
This is to inform you all that there will be no meeting during
December ’04 due to holidays. Our next newsletter will be posted to
inform you about our meeting in January ’05.
Our Committee member, Mrs. Sonia Gurnani who was handling our
Scholarship programme is leaving Jakarta and we take this oppurtunity
to Thank her for all her effort she put into this programme to help
the students to get the best benefit. We bid her farewell & wish her
the very best always wherever she is.

- once a year we buy them 80 tiffins as they fetch
food everyday from the center.
- On Lebaran, everyone gets Sarong, Ladies get
Kebaya & men get shirts. |

- Nutritious food for 50 children age 1-5 years
old.
- on Lebaran, every child gets a gift. |
| 4. Yayasan Kebon Pala |
: |
- Nutritious food for 50 street children
- Lebaran –a gift is given to each child. |

- Yayasan Pendidikan Anak Cacat ( Y.P.A.C.)
Kebayoran- every month, Physiotherapy fees are
paid for Physically handicapped Donny & he gets a gift on Lebaran. |

- Nutritious food to 50 Primary school children
for low income family.
- Lebaran gifts given to each child. |
SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship programme has been very encouraging to many students. We
have successful students who have done vocational courses and get
themselves into suitable jobs. We have been able to get two more
students into our programme.
