Dear Members,
Hello to all, once again!!! Last month we were busy on our toes organizing two events. Our monthly meeting was educational and interesting with our young Dr. Varkha Bhudrani where she answered detailed queries. There were many questions by the members put forward to her. She covered some interesting topics like- Hyper tension , Cholesterol, Menopause and Osteoporosis. We sincerely thank Dr. Varkha for spending her valuable time with us & clearing our doubts. We thank our host Mrs. Rachna Kishore for making our meeting comfortable in her residence where she organized everything so well.

The big event of the year the Charity Bazaar, on Wednesday 29th September 2004, was a great success. We had 191 vendors selling various items under one roof, at the Hotel Four Season’s. Our Patron Mrs. Mrinalini Singh inaugurated the bazaar. Many people visited the bazaar from different races and many appreciated the efforts put into organizing the bazaar at a big scale. The IWA had opened a Tambola stall, which was a great, hit, and Lady Luck smiled on most of the participants. We thank each one of you for all the help rendered to us for preparation and during the Bazaar.

On Saturday 2nd October we had a Thank You Lunch organized at Mrs. Aparna Narang’s residence for all the volunteers –Mrs. Rajni Ghanshyam, Mrs. Vimla Kishinchand, Mrs. Veena Singh, Mrs. Shabana Akabaney, Mrs. Jyoti Singh, Mrs. Jyoti Nanwani, Mrs. Rachna Advani, Mrs. Rekha Tekchandani, Mrs. Manju Agarwal, Mrs. Kavita Tolani, Mrs. Diksh Lalchandani & Mrs. Bharti. There were 20 students from Gandhi International School, for their tremendous effort put into making the Bazaar a great success. Once again a Big Thank you to all of them. We played a few games of bingo, and the lavish lunch served, organised by a few of the committee members, which was a grand finale to our Big Event.


Our forth coming October meeting will be preparing ourselves for Diwali!!!! Ladies, to start the festivity mood, are you all set to learn how to make lovely mouth watering Mithais from some of our members who have willingly agreed to demonstrate their recipes which we can use to make for our family & friends!
