I. W. A. NEWSLETTER
September, 2004
Dear Members,
We are back now after a very exciting and fun filled Picnic at Puncak!!!
We had a very good turn out of 38 ladies. The different groups met at
our President Mrs. Gopi Panjabi’s bunglow in Puncak and then we went
ahead to go & see the lovely Shiv Lingam Temple and had a wonderful
bhajan & aarti session there. We then proceeded to the tea plantation
where the members went on to buy freshly packed tea leaves and some
enjoyed the horse rides there too!!! After all that excitement lunch
was then organized back at Mrs. Gopi’s Residence and the extravagant
meal was well set. Thanks to Aparna Narang, Gulu Samtani, Kavita
Mahtani, Nisha Ashok, Saira Jethnani,Sonal, Suchita Mukhi & last but
not the least to our lovely host, Gopi Panjabi who had prepared a lot
more than expected. The games followed & Congratulations to the:

The picnic ended with tea & all
members returned safely back to Jakarta at 7: 00 pm.

Our Body which many of us keep neglecting needs our attention!!! This
month we are inviting Dr. Varkha L. who has been very kind to spend a
few hours with us, to discuss the common ailments – Cough & cold in
Children, Menopause, How to prevent Cholesterol & High blood pressure
etc.

The Charity Bazaar will be held on Wednesday
29th September 2004 at the BALLROOM,
HOTEL REGENT (FOUR SEASONS). JL H.R. RASUNA SAID
KUNINGAN,JAKARTA.
between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
( Please make a note of the Date as a Correction from Last
month newsletter).
There are many stalls selling different kinds of
- handicrafts, household items, clothings, jewellery, gift items
etc.-
from– India and many parts of Indonesia.

ALL IWA MEMBERS OF THE YEAR 2004, THERE IS A SPECIAL 50%
DISCOUNT ON THE ENTRANCE TICKET TO THE BAZAAR.!!!!

charity event to make it a success.

You can't buy love . . . but you pay heavily for it.
Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you
get tired.

Condolence
Our condolences to our committee
member Mrs. Sonia Gurnani on the sad demise of her Father in Delhi.
May his soul rest in peace & may God give her the strength to bear
this loss.
With this I end this newsletter so
hope to see you all at the meeting with the Dr. to clear doubts & can
live a healthier life.
