Hello Dear Members,
Independence Day Celebration was
held on 9th August at Graha Sindhu. The function started with a short
speech by our President, Gopi Panjabi. This was followed by a
patriotic song led by Aparna Narang and Suchita Mukhi which everyone
joined. Poonam Adnani and Lovely Walia rendered two songs in their
melodious voices. Lovely Walia also gave a dance performance to the
song ‘nimbura nimbura’. The concluding programme was a game of
‘bingo’. The winners were Hemu Raiji, Jayshree Mehta, Roshni Gurbani,
Aneesha Panjabi and Renu Sharma. We congratulate all the winners.
The programme was attended by 58 ladies. The food was brought by Gopi
Panjabi, Kav ita Mahtani and Aparna Narang.
SEPETEMBER, 2005
Our next month’s programme is a cooking demonstration of South Indian
delicacies by our Committee Member, Shanti Shesadri. The details are

Our heatiest congratulations to our
President, Gopi Panjabi’s son Anil, on his wedding to Laju on 31st
July 2005.
Our heartiest congratulations also to our Committee Member, Sonal and
her husband Ravi for the new arrival of baby boy Pranav in their
family.
BAZAAR 2005
IWA Bazaar 2005 will be held on 19th October ’05 at the Four Seasons
Hotel, The vendors’ registration morning will be held on Wednesday 7th
September’05 at the JICC, Jl. Kemang V, No. 2, Jakarta Selatan. Tel.
No. 71791835. The timing is from 9.00am to 2.00 pm.

SOCIAL WELFARE
BKKKKS celebrated Children’s Day in Taman
Mini on 23rd July 2005. On this occasion IWA donated 150 lunch boxes
to them.
SCHOLARSHIP
Our member Sheelu Mulani is sponsoring one student in our Scholarship
programme. We thank Sheelu for her benevolent gesture.
