HUSAIN is a name that has become

business, Shahnaz is an emotional person at heart. She has always

Shahnaz loves poetry and Keats is her favourite. In fact, right from
childhood, she has expressed her innermost feelings in verse. Often,
when she has been away from home, she has written poetry for her
children. She feels she can express herself better this way, instead
of merely telling them how much she misses them. She paints too and
her regret is that her demanding career does not allow her to indulge
in her favourite pastimes.
Shahnaz also values personal bonds and friendships. She never forgets
to send cards, gifts and flowers on birthdays and other occasions. She
has the tremendous ability to remember varied personal details about
others simultaneously, inspite of her busy schedules. Shahnaz also
loves to entertain and often has her close friends over for dinner,
planning every detail herself, with lavish spreads and beautiful
settings, in order to create the right ambience. For herself, Shahnaz
loves simple home-cooked food and is partial to yogurt, salads and
sprouts.
To know the real Shahnaz, one must also know of her school, Shamute,
the free training school in cosmetic therapy, for the speech and
hearing impaired. She has translated her spiritual values in real
terms, bringing hope and a sense of purpose in the lives of the
students. Shahnaz believes that a beautiful woman is one who values
herself physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually.
It is her unique personal qualities that have endeared her to others
and have given them a true personal glimpse of Shahnaz Husain. Through
her interaction with others, she leaves a lingering fragrance of her
personality.
