Here Comes the Bride !

Today, let me share with you pointers you should follow before you go for your bridal make-up and list what you should keep in mind after the wedding.

Pre-wedding caution :

Don't use a haldi paste on the face. It gives the skin a yellow tinge that's difficult to wash off.

o Do pre-bridals (waxing and threading) 2-3 days in advance, so that your skin isn't irritated.
o Drink water. This will hydrate your skin and prevent dry patches and chapped lips as well.
o Don't experiment with products. They can make your skin erupt into allergic rashes.

Post-wedding caution :

Use an oil-based eye make-up remover, which will also remove the lipstick stain.

o Use cleansing milk, twice, all over the face and neck.
o A foaming face-wash will get rid of all make-up residue.
o Use a night cream to rejuvenate your skin the next day.
o Don't engage in back-combing with the end of a tail-comb.
o If you have used a combination of hair products, have an oil massage the next day, which will also remove excessive sindoor.
o Have a deep conditioning hair treatment after the wedding function.
