Bhinneka Tunggal Ika
Indonesia’s Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in Bahasa Indonesia is basically same as India’s Vividhata mein Ekta in India’s National language Hindi, having absolutely same meaning. This philosophical thought originates in Hinduism’s basic philosophy of Advaita which has existed for hundreds of years in India and has guided and inspired all Indian people to live with peaceful co-existence and tolerance for a different thought or religion or philosophy. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in Sanskrit means whole world is one single family and this awareness exists in India for thousands of years. This may be a new thought for western world but India lives this philosophy for ages and a is a living and shining example of tolerance ,co-existence and freedom of expression and religion of any kind.
