Sheep (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991,2003) 
“The Lucky Sheep finds love, happiness and wealth.”

This will not be an easy year. There will be barriers to success in everything you do and setbacks particularly in your career or business. The biggest negative star comes from being in the path of the Grand Duke. Beware adversaries at work and protect yourself by displaying a Rooster to curb politicking. Sheep Year people should carry the Three Friends amulet (the Pig, Rabbit & Horse) this year to bring them the luck of helpful people and to turn enemies into friends. As a symbol of respectful acknowledgement of the Grand Duke's presence, display a Pi Yao in the South/Southwest corner of your home. The Careful Horse will not get lost.

HORSE

This will be a year of mixed blessings. Wealth can come, but it comes slowly. There is no luck of the speculative sort, so do not risk your fortune in the stock market, no matter how good you think your hunch is or how reliable your source of information. Protect your wealth by placing an aventurine tree in the SE or North of your living room. To activate the tree, hang I-Ching wealth coins or other auspicious symbols from the gem leaves of the tree. Display an image of swimming carps in the North of your living room to enhance your career luck. (When choosing a painting of carps, make sure you do not choose one depicting a totally white carp with one red spot on its forehead, as this represents failure.) Because the sickness star is present, Horse Year people should watch out for their health this year. Place a Wu Lou in your bedroom and the Laughing Buddha in your dining room to protect against falling sick.

You will have plenty of wealth and success luck this year. It is a year to be bold and go forth with your ideas and plans. Your efforts at work will be recognized and your hard work will not go unnoticed. If you have always wanted to start your own business, seize the opportunity, as the stars are with you this year. However, watch that your success does not get to your head. Do not succumb to temptation and lust, as this will lead to heartache and losses. There is also danger of accidents and illnesses. To protect yourself against falling ill, display a Wu Lou at your bedside. To prevent serious accidents, display 6 peacock feathers in your home and in your car. To activate for wealth and success to ripen early for you, place a pink crystal lotus rotating in a clockwise direction in the heart (centre) of your home and of your office. For fast turnover in business, display five rats transporting wealth in the SE of your office. For love, wear a bloodstone to increase relationship luck. But as long as you stay honorable in your dealings, you have nothing to worry, as achievement will come even if it does not seem apparent in the present moment. It will not be a smooth year for your marriage. There will be arguments and petty quarrels, but there is unlikely to be interference by a third party. To activate your wealth luck, you should display a Sailing Ship with treasures at the entrance to your home or office. Protect against office politics and backstabbing with a Rooster on your desk. To protect the good fortune of the year, wear a Citrine (a fantastic wealth energizer) as a ring. The bigger the stone, the better.

Pig (1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995)

Pig Year people will encounter many challenges and difficulties this year. Nothing fatal, but the ride will not be smooth. Display a Wu Lou or a Tortoise with Pa Kua shape at the Southeast to protect against sickness and accidents. Guard against the affliction of bad luck by displaying a crystal globe in the center of your living room to smooth your path through the year and to ride out the obstacles and misfortunes likely in certain months. Place an image of Chung Kwei in the Northwest for protection. For wealth luck, wear a Citrine or Tigereye stone, either as a pendant or ring. Open all the doors and windows of your home once a month to clear our bad energy and to allow new energy in.

Rat ((1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996)

Last year's losses are recovered. There is promise of promotion and increase in incomes. Those in business will see improvement in turnover. Romance-wise, this is a great year, especially for those looking for mates. Those who are married should guard against sexual temptation. Those at school or college will benefit from a very good year but there is a need to guard against over confidence. Older rats enjoy speculative/gambling luck and health-wise the indications are excellent. To activate business and career luck you should energize the northwest corner with metal enhancers. Look for decorative objects of auspicious symbols and deities placed on a bed of coins, as these will attract powerful mentor luck. To activate wealth luck, put the wealth-spouting mongoose in the North or Southeast corners of your home and office. The mongoose looks like the rat and it should be shown sitting on a bed of coins. To help along a slow-moving romance, place a Kwan Yin's Palm by your bed. Finally, if you do not yet have the Fuk Luk Sau, this is an excellent year to invite a beautiful set into your home. Place them in your dining room area.

Ox (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961. 1973, 1985, 1997) 
“The Resourceful Ox finds the treasure chest.”

Ox Year people will have a bumpy year ahead as they are said to be confronting the Grand Duke Jupiter this year. There are also no auspicious stars appearing in their favour. There will be plenty of troublemakers, but do not engage in arguments or battles, as you are unlikely to win. It is better to lie low and keep a relatively low profile this year. Success can be achieved with hard work and staying power. Do not make rash decisions or be hasty, as this will lead to disappointment. For Ox year people, it is vital to display an image of the Rooster and Snake (the friends of the Ox), as this will minimize the bad luck of the year. To offset the effects of the Grand Duke, display a pair of Chi Lin, the Pi Yao or the Pi Xie in the South/Southwest. For the goodwill of bosses and colleagues, place a 2-rod ceramic windchime in the SW. A Rhinoceros positioned to face your front door will protect against robbery. Wearing a Rose Quartz Stone will improve relationships with people.

Energy adjustment: Blue is the color for the Ox persons in 2002. Three frogs holding a crystal sphere or pearl brings fortune for the Ox persons this year.

Tiger (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998)

This year will be an average year for the Tiger. There are bad stars heading their way, but they also have their share of good stars. Business luck this year is average and there are obstacles to growth. Be cautious when expanding your business, or starting a new venture, particularly if there will be unknown joint-venture partners involved. It is a time to be prudent with your spending. For wealth creation, install a water feature in the SE of your home or living room. To protect against money losses, place a Dragon image in the East. A dragon here will also promote harmony in the household and with business associates and colleagues at work. For love, place a rose quartz crystal or rose quartz gem tree in the SW.

Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999) 
“The Creative Rabbit is surrounded by love and wealth.”

A good year when you will be sheltered from being cheated by unscrupulous people. Business ventures have a good chance of succeeding. Do not let initial obstacles and problems deter you from moving strongly ahead. These bad experiences will be blessings in disguise. 2003 is a good year for you so there is nothing to fear. Relationships could be in for a bumpy ride. Marriages come under the strain of quarrels and squabbling and lovers do not enjoy a smooth ride. Health-wise there could be some problems. For those born in rabbit years, do invest in good health objects such as the Wu Lou to be placed near the bed. These should ward off illness chi. Also hang metal wind chimes in the Southeast of your home and place a pair of Fu Dogs or a pair of Chi Lin flanking the door into your home or apartment. These symbolic cures are excellent for keeping illness chi at bay. To activate wealth and business luck, place water features and a golden dragon in the East side of the home. It is also an excellent idea to invest in a good-sized gem tree. This should be placed near the main door entrance of your home. Citrines would benefit you. Also wear the mystical knot either as a jewellery piece or carry it as a key ring or as an amulet in your purse.

Energy adjustment: The Rabbit persons can use the brown jade and mantra charms to absorb this year’s positive energy.

Dragon (1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000) 
“The Discreet Dragon keeps out of trouble.”

This will be a watershed year, which brings enormous good fortune. Many helpful people enter your life bringing opportunities that ripen into successful and profitable new ventures. You must seize this time of good fortune when even enemies will become helpful friends. This is a year to be brave and courageous. For those working, promotions are in the air and those in business will benefit from exceptional prosperity. Do not let any general economic downturns worry you. Romance-wise, dragons enjoy good fortune if they can come off their high horse. Health-wise however, this is a troublesome year and especially for the elderly, it is a good thing to be extra careful about the food you take. To activate business and wealth luck, it is an excellent idea to energize the dragon direction, which is SE1, with wood element enhancers such as flowering plants. Anything that stimulates growth chi will cause the good fortune of the year to ripen, thus water features such as small corner fountains or water basins/bowls will be excellent. These can be placed in both the SE and the East of your living room or office. You can also invest in a golden dragon to be placed in the East or Southeast to activate the good fortune of the dragon. An image of two dragons carrying a pearl will be particularly excellent.

Snake (1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001) 
“The Famous Snake behaves himself.” 

What you prepare this year will ripen in spectacular success the following year, thus this is a year for laying the foundation for victory and triumph in the future. Although the fruits of your toil may not be apparent immediately, do not be put off, as your efforts will eventually pay off. Take time to increase your skills and knowledge. There may also be troublemakers and enemies putting you down or trying to undermine your abilities this year. Counter this with a smooth crystal ball in the SW and a Kwan Kung made of metal in the NW. To activate for wealth & career luck, display Horses in pairs, sixes or eights with Six I-Ching Coins in the Northwest of your home/office. Make sure the horses do not appear to be rearing up. Prancing horses or standing horses are best. To cause good fortune to ripen sooner rather than later, place a Pink Crystal Lotus and ensure it turns in a clockwise direction. Parents of Snake children may find them more mischievous than usual this year; to improve this, display a Pagoda in the West of their bedroom or study room.
