Note:
After "ti" comes another "do" in a higher
tone. Since key # 8 edits the length of each tone, you need to
press the * (asterisk) key then press key # 1 (do) again in
order to play "do" in a higher tone.
You
will need to know the ropes in order to compose efficiently. They
are the following:
I)
The letters signify the notes. If
you took piano lessons, then you must know that "do" is
the "middle c", therefore the "c" is
"do", or the "1" key of your Nokia Celfone.
I'll give you a table here to signify what I mean.
2)
The numbers in the notes which are followed by a dash (-)
represent "spaces" or "rests". Take the
Nu-Gundam notes above for instance. The "32-" means a
space in a short duration. The longest is 1-, while the shortest
is 32-. You only have 1-, 2-, 4-, 8-, 16- and 32- for your
selections. In order to put spaces in your compositions, you need
to press the key # 0 in your Nokia Celfone, then press
the key # 8 to edit its length from 32- to 1- or whatever length
you choose.
3) The numbers following the letters in each note refers to its
tone. The Nokia Celfone supports only 3 octaves, let's say a
"low", "medium" and "high". The
lowest tone is 1, and the highest is 3. Let's take the Nu-Gundam
tone again. The first note is a 4c2, meaning the note is
in the 2nd octave. If it happens to be a 4c1, then it's
a "do" in the lowest octave. So, using common
sense, we can say that 4c2 is higher than 4c1.
4) The numbers preceeding the letters represent the tone's length.
There are 6 different kinds of lengths, and they are 1, 2, 4,
8, 16 and 32, 32 being the shortest length and 1 being the
longest. The same rules to the spaces apply here too. To edit the
length of each note, you must press any corresponding note's
key # (refer to the chart) then edit it by pressing the key
# 8. For instance, let's say the note is 2f2. To put
this note in your Nokia Phone's Composer sheet, press key # 4 (fa/f),
then the * (asterisk) button to change its tone (the number 2 in
that particular note) and finally, the key # 8 to edit is
length. Since a note's length is always set to 4 when
composing, you need to press key # 8 continously until the 4
becomes 2. The end result: 2f2!
5) The "#" character indicates a "sharp" tone.
To a pianist, this represents as the "black" keys in
the piano. To execute this "sharp" note, press the
"#" key in your Nokia Celfone. Note: only key #s
1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 can be executed with the "sharp"
button. Take 8#g2 for example. To do this, press key #
6 (sol/g). Then edit its tone by pressing the * (asterisk) key and
edit its length by pressing key # 8. Finally, press the
"#" key in your Nokia Celfone and voila! You get a
sharp g! If you press "#" after pressing key # 3 or 7,
nothing will happen, so don't worry. If your Nokia Celfone
gives you a sharp tone for "mi" and "ti", then
I suggest you replace your Celfone since it's giving you a glitch,
hehe...
6)
Lastly, the "Tempo". The "Tempo" can be
found in the "options" menu in your Composer screen. Once
you are done composing the whole song, go to the options menu,
scroll down and pick "tempo" then choose the tempo
according to what the composition says! The fastest tempo is 225
BPM while the slowest is 40 BPM .I would suggest you adjust
yourself personally as all persons has its personal favourite
rhythm. |
