How to Make
Potpourri Soap
These little soaps are a breeze
to make and will look great in your bathroom.
What You Need:
| bar of soap |
|
| kitchen grater |
|
| potpourri |
Difficulty Level: Easy Time
Required: 20 minutes
Here's How:
- Grate a cup of soap into a microwaveable bowl.
- Add one teaspoon of water to the grated soap.
- Microwave on medium until mixture begins to
foam and bubble.
- Remove bowl from the microwave and stir the
mixture until it resembles cake frosting.
- If mixture is too dry, add a little water and
continue to "cook".
- Repeat step four.
- Scoop soap mixture onto a cookie sheet that has
been sprinkled with potpourri.
- Mold soap and potpourri into small soap balls
and then set out to dry.
- These soaps make great gifts and look and smell
great in the bathroom.
Tips:
- Wrap your soap balls in groups of three using
plastic wrap and curling ribbon.
