Makdee

In a village live two twin sisters Chuni the prankster and Munni the quiet one. Obviously Chuni is in trouble all the time and at times gets off blaming it on her other sister or posing off as her. She has a best friend who helps her called Mughal-e-Azam. Her troubles become serious when due to one of her pranks Munni enters the dreaded mansion of the wicked witch Makdee. It is believed that Makdee turns humans into animals. Of course she has turned Munni into a hen.

Chuni is terrified and tries to talk to anyone who would listen to her but alas no one does. She gathers her courage and goes to talk to the witch herself. Makdee makes a deal with her. She wants 100 hens and only then would she turn Munni back to human. The enormous task doesnt deter Chuni who wants things to be as normal as possible. She tries every trick in her book to get 100 hens.

A kids film but it has the usual masala. The narrative is interesting and so is the direction. Vishal Bhardwaj has done a good job for a debutant. But there are too many songs.
