Non-Toxic Homemade Glue

For any adult whose kids have used glue in their schoolwork, they will know that it gets messy everytime. Yet store-bought glue may contain ingredients that can be toxic to children. Make your own non-toxic glue at home, using simple ingredients that you can find in your kitchen.

Note: An adult needs to make this

  • 4 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 packages unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 tablespoon peppermint extract (or flavor or your choice)

How To :

  1. Put the vinegar in a small cooking pan and bring to boil.
  2. Turn the stove to low heat.
  3. Open and pour in the packets of gelatin to the hot vinegar.
  4. Mix until the gelatin is dissolved.
  5. Then add your favorite flavor… we like peppermint!

When finished making the stickers, you can store the remaining glue in a tightly sealed jar for future use. When you want to use the glue again, you can place the jar in a pan with hot water.
