Brown Rice Porridge

 
Serves 2
You'll stay full longer on full-bodied brown rice porridge than on congee. 
  • 1 cup brown rice 
  • 8-10 cups water 
  • salt to taste
  • 1 piece fish fillet, chopped and seasoned with light soya sauce and sesame oil
  • Parsley for garnishing
  1. Rinse brown rice. Add water and bring to boil. 
  2. Lower flame and simmer until porridge is read.
  3. Add fish and seasoning to taste.
  4. Serve with chopped parsley.
