Brown Rice
Porridge
Serves 2
You'll stay full longer on full-bodied brown rice porridge than on congee.
- 1 cup brown rice
- 8-10 cups water
- salt to taste
- 1 piece fish fillet, chopped and seasoned with
light soya sauce and sesame oil
- Parsley for garnishing
- Rinse brown rice. Add water and bring to boil.
- Lower flame and simmer until porridge is read.
- Add fish and seasoning to taste.
- Serve with chopped parsley.
