Veg Tikka Kebab


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup soya mince

  • 1/4 green capsicum with juice squeezed and drained and reserve the grated capsicum

  • 2-3 tsps oil

  • some coriander leaves finely chopped

  • green chilis chopped

  • salt to taste

  • 1 full tsp tandoori masala

  • pinch of cumin seed powder

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • bread crumbs-1 slice

Method

  1. Soak the veg kheema in 3/4 cup of water till soft and tender. Drain the water.Grate 1/4 capsicum put it through a sieve and drain away all the juice. Mix 1/2 of the grated capsicum into the kheema and coarsely grind it. Not too fine, just a minute in a pestle and mortar.

  2. Add the balance, tikka masala and all the other ingredients. Mix it well with the hand. Add the oil and salt to taste. Take a small potion and with a wooden spoon mold it onto the back of the handle and grill it on the flame till done.

  3. Serve it with mint chutney.
