The Indoindians Diwali Bazaar 2025, held on Sunday, 5th October 2025 at Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta, was a spectacular celebration of the festive spirit — the biggest and most successful Diwali Bazaar organized by Indoindians so far.

Despite the morning traffic congestion, enthusiasm remained high throughout the day, with over 2,000 visitors and more than 200 vendors participating. The event brought together the Indian and Indonesian communities in a vibrant showcase of togetherness, shopping, food, and festivities.

Inauguration Ceremony

The bazaar commenced at 10:00 AM with a Ganesh Vandana by young Avyansh Bansal, setting an auspicious tone for the day. The inauguration ceremony was flawlessly executed and graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Chief Guest Pak Giring Ganesha, Deputy Minister of Culture of Indonesia, and Guest of Honor Mr. Bijay Selvaraj, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Jakarta.

The ceremony began with the traditional Lighting of the Lamp, followed by welcome remarks by Mr. Selvaraj and remarks by Pak Giring Ganesha. A special cake-cutting ceremony celebrated 25 years of Indoindians, marking a milestone in its journey of connecting and empowering the community.

The inauguration concluded with a vibrant cultural performance by the JNICC troupe, which delighted the audience and set the festive mood for the day.

Food, Fun, and Festivities

The food court was one of the liveliest areas of the bazaar, featuring 21 stalls offering a mix of Indian and Indonesian cuisines. From traditional street food and snacks to regional delicacies, visitors enjoyed a wide variety of flavors.

The main hall offered an equally engaging experience, with stalls showcasing fashion, handicrafts, home décor, Diwali gifts, wellness products, financial services, education, and social initiatives including thrift and charity organizations. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as visitors shopped, explored, and interacted with vendors throughout the day.

A Celebration of Collaboration

The success of the Indoindians Diwali Bazaar 2025 was the result of strong collaboration, community support, and dedicated teamwork. Indoindians extends heartfelt gratitude to the Embassy of India, Indonesia, for their invaluable collaboration and encouragement.

Special thanks are also due to the vendors, sponsors, partners, and the hardworking Indoindians crew whose commitment and professionalism ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience for all. Most importantly, sincere appreciation goes to the visitors whose enthusiastic participation made this celebration truly memorable.
