Times India Property Expo 2016 – a snapshot of the Indian property market

The 6th Edition of the Times India Property Expo 2016 was held at JS LUWANSA Hotel, Jakarta on January 30 & 31. The expo featured developers from the Indian real estate industry to showcase their projects to the NRI and PIO audience in Indonesia. The expo was inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Jain (president of India Club) and Mr. Sanjiv Agarwal.

With more than 20 developers participating at the expo, people were able to look at a spectrum of properties and investment options. The cities in focus included Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Pune.

This expo was in collaboration with Indoindians.com & India Club to create an ideal opportunity for the Indian community in Indonesia to network and connect with the real estate industry experts.

The exhibitors were pleased to see such a strong level of interest among the Indian community in Indonesia and have connected and received tremendous responses from the visitors of the expo.

India Club and Times India Property also hosted a “Bollywood Night” with cocktails and dinner on 30 January at the JS LUWANSA Ballroom, where the Java band performed a wide range of Bollywood hits.

In addition, four artists Indian artists settled in Indonesia from the group “Different strokes of India” (Meera Joseph, Arti Gidwani, Vijay Laxmi Birla and Kshipra Rao) showcased some of their work at the expo.

Even the children had an exciting day at the second painting competition on Sunday, 31st January. This year’s theme was artistic impressions on the ‘Natural Beauty of Indonesia’.

Overall, it was a very fruitful weekend for the Indian community in Jakarta.
