Celebrating Womenโ€™s Voices Through Art

Alongside the Indoindians Extraordinary Women Awards 2026 ceremony, the event also featured the Indoindians Art Showcase โ€” โ€œHer World: Strength, Spirit & Stories,โ€ curated by Vinita Parambi.

The exhibition presented works by artists from the community who explored themes of identity, resilience, and womanhood through visual storytelling. Each artwork reflected a unique perspective on womenโ€™s experiences, emotions, and inner strength.

Aparna R Rajan

Aparna R. Rajan is a visual artist and educator based in Indonesia, formally trained in Fine Arts and Textile Design at the National Institute of Design, India. Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, surface design, and community art education. Inspired by nature, memory, and traditional craft practices, she reinterprets heritage through contemporary mixed-media expressions that explore identity, resilience, and cultural continuity.

Chanchal Sandhu

Based in Indonesia for over two decades, Chanchal Sandhu is a contemporary mixed-media artist who transitioned from a marketing career into full-time art. Certified in decoupage mixed media from Calambour, Italy, she creates textured canvas works and hand-painted dรฉcor pieces. Inspired by Indian folk traditions like Madhubani and Pichwai, her fusion style combines layered textures, resin, and acrylics.
