🌷 Let your art tell HER story.
Curator: Vinita Parambi
Vinita Parambi is a contemporary abstract artist whose practice is rooted in intuition, material exploration, and the emotional resonance of color. Her work emerges from a deeply immersive creative process—one that privileges spontaneity over control and allows images to evolve organically on the canvas.
Vinita received formal training at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore, where she studied Abstract Art from 2010 to 2012 under Malaysian artist Raymond Yap. Prior to this, she developed her artistic foundation through learning with established artists in India and Singapore, including Tung and Ms. Fern (NAFA). Expanding her multidisciplinary approach, she also trained in ceramics under renowned Singaporean ceramicist and performance artist Jason Lim.
Her paintings are driven by an internal dialogue between color, texture, and movement. Vinita often introduces secondary mediums as catalysts within the creative process, allowing chemical and visual reactions to guide the formation of imagery. This method results in layered compositions marked by rhythm, pulse, and gestural footprints—each work reflecting the emotional state present at the moment of its creation.
Vinita has exhibited internationally across New York, London, Paris, Italy, Germany, Singapore, and India, establishing a global presence for her work. In addition to exhibitions, she has conducted art workshops for charitable institutions and for NAFA Singapore, reflecting her commitment to artistic education and community engagement.
Through her art, Vinita invites viewers into a space of open interpretation—encouraging personal reflection, emotional exploration, and the discovery of multiple narratives embedded within each work. She believes art holds the power to transcend structure and offer a deeply personal yet universal experience.
