Indoindians Associations Admin Manual
LOGIN ADMIN WEBSITE
To manage posts on the Indoindians website as an Association, start by accessing the admin login page as follows.
- Open Indoindians.com, go to the “Associations” menu → “Login”
Note: If the URL is not accessible (Not Found), please contact the Indoindians team.

- Then, enter your registered Username/Email Address and Password in the login fields provided, then click the Log in button. Check ‘Remember me‘ if you’re working for a long time to avoid automatic session logout. See the screenshot below.

DASHBOARD MENU ADMIN

After logging into your Author account on indoindians.com, you will land on the main Admin page called the Dashboard, which provides features to manage your content.
To manage your content and account, there are several menus on the left side (sidebar). The main menus available for an Author account include:
a. Dashboard Menu
The dashboard menu will display a number of quick shortcuts, such as At a Glance, Quick Draft, and so on.
b. Posts Menu
The posts menu is used to create and manage post or article content according to your previously created categories.
c. Media Menu
To upload images, videos, or documents to the website, the maximum file size is 1MB. However, before uploading media such as images, it is recommended to optimize the image file to the required size and compress the image. Documents or media that have been uploaded will appear in the library. To upload new media, please click “Add New.”
d. Profile Menu
Used to manage your account profile, such as adding users, editing/updating admin profiles, removing accounts from the admin list, and so on.
Attention!
Do not change any settings from menus that are not explained in this guide. If an error occurs on the website, please contact us immediately!
CHANGING YOUR ADMIN ACCOUNT PROFILE
You can also change your profile or admin account data by following these steps.
- Log in to the website’s Admin page with your username and password.
- After you are on the admin dashboard, click the “Profile” menu in the sidebar.

- On this Profile page, you can change your name, email address, password, and other information.

CREATING A POST (NEW ARTICLE)
Posts are updated content such as articles, news, and so on.
A list of all posts can be viewed from the Posts → All Posts menu.
Article or news content can be managed through the menu or feature called “Posts“. To add a new post, follow these steps:
A. How to Create a Post (New Article)
1. Add New Post
Click Posts → Add New in the dashboard menu on the left.
The editor screen will appear, similar to the screenshot.

2. Adding a Title
In a new post, enter a title in the “Add title” field.

3. Adding Content
Enter your post content in the large editor area in the middle of the page:– Write your article content.
- You can use formatting features such as bold, italic, quote, bullet points, add links, and so on.
- To add an image: click Add Media then choose from the Media Library or upload a new file.
4. Selecting and Setting Article Categories
- Look at the Categories panel on the right side.
- Select the primary category “Associations” then check the subcategory corresponding to your brand name or category.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
- You (as an Author) cannot add new categories.
- If you need a new category, you must contact the Indoindians Admin.
- If the sub-category with your company name is not checked, the article you create will not appear on your main page.
- Do not tick random categories—make sure they match your own category or the article’s theme.
5. Adding Tags (Optional)
- You can type tag names directly in the Tags field and click Add.
- Or use a previously created tag name by clicking “Choose from the most used tags“.
- Click Add.

6. Adding a Featured Image (Article Thumbnail)
The featured image is the main image for the article.
How to add it:
- At the bottom right there is a panel called Featured Image.
- Upload the post thumbnail image by clicking “Set featured image”.

- Choose an image from the Media Library and click Set featured image, or upload a new image.
- You can upload a new image file from your computer by clicking “Upload files → Select Files”, choose the file to upload, then click the “Set featured image” button.
7. Check SEO & Readability (Optional)
At the bottom (Yoast SEO section):
- You can fill in the Focus keyphrase.
- Pay attention to the SEO, readability, and inclusive language suggestions.
- This is not mandatory, but it helps your article perform better in search engines.

8. Save Draft or Preview Article
Use the Publish panel at the top right:
- Click Save Draft if you want to save it to continue later.
- Click Preview to see how the article will look before submitting it to the admin.

9. Submit Articles for Admin Review (MANDATORY)
As an Author, you cannot publish articles directly.
Your article must be reviewed and approved by the Indoindians Admin.
Once your article is ready:
- Click the “Submit for Review” button.
- The article status will change to “Pending Review”.
- The Indoindians Admin will review and publish it if everything is correct.

10. After Submitting for Review
- You cannot edit the article until the Admin provides feedback.
- If the Admin requests revisions, you can edit it again and submit for review once more.
📌 SUMMARY OF SPECIAL RULES FOR AUTHORS ON INDOINDIANS.COM
✔ You must use Submit for Review; you cannot publish articles yourself.
✔ You cannot create new categories.
✔ If the category does not exist → contact the Indoindians Admin.
✔ Make sure the article is complete: title, content, category, and featured image.
✔ Use legal and relevant media/images.
CHANGING POSTS (EDIT ARTICLES)
This guide will show you how to edit posts via the Posts → All Posts page in your dashboard. Here are the steps:
1. Go to the Posts
- In the left menu, click Posts
- Select All Posts to see your entire list of posts.

2. Find the Post to Edit
At the top of the post list there are several filters:
- All / Mine / Published / Drafts / Pending / Trash
→ You can use these to filter posts by their status.
→ If you want to edit your own posts only, click the Mine tab as shown in the screenshot.

- All dates → Filters posts based on creation date.
- All Categories → Filters posts by category.
- All formats, All SEO Scores, All Readability Scores → Used to filter by format, SEO score, or readability score (depending on the plugins used).
3. Selecting Posts to Edit
In the list of posts, you’ll see a list of titles—for example:
“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet 01 — Draft”
To edit a post, you have several options:
a. Main Edit (Full Edit)
- Move your cursor over the post title.
- Klik Edit → This takes you to the website editor to write the article content.

b. Quick Edit (Optional)
- Click “Quick Edit” under the title.

- You can change:
Title, slug, date, category, tags, and status (Draft / Pending Review). - Click Update to save.

c. Preview
Click Preview to see how the post looks on the website before you submit it for review.
