IOS was established in 2017, but we started the event and were in full phase of existence in the year 2022. It was officially registered as per Indonesia law as Yayasan Mitra Kalinga Tercinta in June 2023
The first event was in Jan 2023, Makar Milan, followed by 1st Utkal Diwas in April 2023, Nuakhai Bhetghat in Sept 2023. We have around 40 families in the Odia Samaj, and the Samaj is still growing with Odias present in Indonesia. We are attached with the embassy and are part of all their events either as organizing member or participants. Our community is involved in other social activities like relief to the needy local people during the last earthquake in the Bogor area, etc.
