Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi, Haraamkhor is based on real life events. A school teacher falls in love with his teenage student and has an illicit relationship with her. The film was apparently shot within 16 days and has already won accolades in international film festivals. It’ll be released in India in 2016.

Starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur, Airlift is also based on real life events. It draws its inspiration from the biggest evacuation of Indians in Kuwait in 1990.
