The idea of Incredible India Education Fair (IIEF) in Indonesia was initiated by Mr. Ravi Makhija, MBA, Director of TIE UPS International (TIE UPS) who has worked in the Indonesian Education sector for the past 14 years and has observed the โacute lack of representationโ by Indian Universities in Indonesia. Past Indian Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor Leste, H.E. Gurjit Singh supported and endorsed the idea of creating opportunities for the Indian Education Sector in Indonesia which led to the creation of the IIEF for the first time at Jakarta in September 2015. Subsequently, 2 other IIEF were held in 2016 (Jakarta) and 2017 (Bali and Medan).
The objective of TIE UPS through IIEF is to enhance educational links between India and Indonesia; thus reviving โKnowledge Routeโ and also promote Indian Education in Indonesia. With a view to further enhance the educational links between India and Indonesia TIE UPS has initiated Incredible India School Visit Forum (IISVF), an initiative whereby Indian Universities would visit Schools in Indonesia and meet Counselors, Students with a view to inform about India and Indian Education. In addition to it, forums will also be held with Parents and Counselors separately with a view to provide detailed one-to-one information about the developments of India in the field of Education.
The first IISVF in Indonesia would be held between 08-16 October 2017 in 5 cities of Indonesia (Jakarta, Karawang, Bandung, Bali and Medan). Events of IISVF includes 10 School Visits, 4 Forums. IISVF will be attended by partner universities of TIE UPS which includes SRM University Chennai, Nitte University Mangalore and Sri Ramakrishna Group of Institutions Coimbatore.
TIE UPS annually conducts IIEF in Indonesia (next one from 31 January 2018 โ 06 February 2018). We at TIE UPS believe that events such as IIEF, IISVF will enhance the Brand of Indian Education in Indonesia and enable many middle class families to consider India as a Destination for their Higher Studies as India offers World Class Quality Education at Affordable Cost.
