When it comes to healthy drinks that are good for weight loss, buttermilk comes out on top! Not only is it a healthy drink, great for summer but also effective for weight loss. With chilled curd, water and spices like cumin and mint, you can ward off the heat. Moreover, it is one of the most effective drinks in Ayurveda which can also help in digestion. All in all, nutritionists even think that chaach is recommended by nutritionists in summer.

Here are some of the tips:

Tip 1: Cumin

Generously add freshly ground cumin powder in buttermilk. Not only will this help in easing gastric problems but it will also aid in weight loss.

Tip 2: Ginger

Ground some ginger and squeeze the juice out of it. Add 1 tsp of this ginger juice to a cup of fresh buttermilk. This health drink will regulate the bile secretion and improve digestion for weight loss.

Note: The ideal time to drink chaach, according to Ayurveda is after lunch as it is easy to digest. But it’d be best not to drink it at night, for it can aggravate the Vata & Pitta, which will cause an imbalance in the body.
