Italian Easter Bread Recipe adapted for Bread Machines


Many variations of this recipe are prepared in Europe. This one is adapted for bread machines.

Easter Bread
Easter Bread (Italian style)

Ingredients :
Makes 1 loaf

  • 1 cup Milk, whole
  • 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 cups Bread flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) Dry active yeast

Directions :

  1. Add all ingredients to a bread machine in the order listed.
  2. Do not use a delayed start program.
  3. Use a basic bread program.
  4. Bake the dough in your convection oven
