Hare Krishna Hare Rama….Sri Nilacala Dhama (ISKCON Temple)is located in Pasar Baru or โlittle Indiaโ area of central Jakarta.
It conducts daily artis as any other ISKCON temple. Best time to visit is Sunday noon for the feast. Simple temple. Serving as a stay for some of the devotees who are working in Jakarta. When any sanyasis visit, they also end up coming here.
Their main deities are Lord Jagannathan, Baladeva and Subadradevi. They provide free Krishna prasadam, Bhagavad Gita class, Yoga class etc. The temple โs mission is to chant the glorious name of god in the form Nama Sankirtana and to learn the Vedic literature through disciple succession. They believe that all Hindus should bring Krishna in their daily lives.
They have a plan to build a new temple to accommodate the growing members of Krishna devotees and people who want to have darshan of Lord Jagannath.
Contributing to constructing a new temple is considered an activity that brings luck for anyone involved in it as described in the Vedic literature. You can contribute and participate during fundraising to BUILD a new Temple.The new temple will be the most beautiful building in Pasar Baru area.
