Apple masks can be used to lighten dark spots, speed cell turnover, brighten dull skin, decrease wrinkles and improve overall skin texture and tone. Moreover, the Granny Smith and Red Delicious variety contains high levels of collagen and elastin — the protein that gives your skin firmness and prevents wrinkles from forming. You can get all of these benefits by eating one apple a day or apply apple mixed with 1 tablespoon of honey on your under-eyes once a week. Let the mask dry for 10 minutes. Remove the mask by first by splashing in warm water, then cold water.
