Indoindians Extraordinary Woman Awardee for Social Impact: Dr Nivedita Shetty
As a doctor and surgeon, Dr. Nivedita Shetty has used her knowledge and skills for the benefit of many. As she is on the board of many hospitals, she is serving not only Indonesian patients but also the Indian community. Her help extends beyond her professional life, as she helps the needs and disabled, suffering children and adult patients, selflessly.
One of her charitable work is to set up small face mask production unit for a poor family and all the profits go to that family as their child is physically handicapped. Also she takes care of the suffering dogs and other animals and arranges for them medical care and shelter.
