Indoindians Guided Tour of Indonesian National Museum on Wednesday, 27th April with Aarti Garde

Aarti GadreJoin the Indoindians Guided Tour of Indonesian National Museum on Wednesday, 27th April with Aarti Gadre.

Address: Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat No.12, Jakarta Pusat

The Museum Nasional of Indonesia is one of the most significant landmarks of the city. It holds a wealth of artefacts and treasures from all over Indonesia, and each object has an interesting story.

What is a saddle doing in a room full of gold?
Why did people blacken their teeth?
What is ancestral worship?
How did the Minangkabau get their name?

There’s a lot of history and a bit of magic waiting to be discovered on a tour of the museum. To explore some of it, I invite you to walk with me on a Highlights Tour* on April 27th 2016 at 10 am, said Aarti.

*The tour will last around 1.5 hours. It’s a good idea to carry a small hand fan and a bottle of water. The tour is free, you only pay the admission fee at the entrance lobby.
