Tempeh Burger

Ingredients:
- 300g tempeh, steamed for about 15 minutes and mashed
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 egg (use only the egg white)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 green onion (use the white part), thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoon margarine/oil for frying
- 4 slices of cheese
How to Make It:
1. Shape the steamed and mashed tempeh mixture into flat round patties, about 7 cm wide and 3 cm thick.
2. Coat each patty with egg white.
3. Fry in margarine/oil until golden brown.
4. Place the cooked patty between toasted burger buns. Add cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup as toppings.
