Indian Sweets Recipe: Badam Ki Barfi

BADAM KI BARFI

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cup Almonds
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 500 gms Sugar
  • 1½tsp powdered cardamom
  • 5 tbsp ghee

Directions:

  1. Soak Almonds over night in a bowl full of water. If you are in hurry then leave it soaked for a couple of hours in water
  2. When soft remove the skin and grind the almonds to a find paste. Ensure that if you are using a grinding stone then the stone is washed well so that other flavors would not get mixed with the almonds.

  4. Once it starts boiling add ghee to it and keep it on the stove till it leaves the sides of the pan. Add cardamom powder and pour the ready mixture to a greased plate. When cool cut into strips.
